So what? Should I act the part of my chromosomes? What's your point?

Well, somebody seems to have woken up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. Just because I was born a man, that doesn't mean I should have to act like one. That's like saying you can't train a cat to do tricks because it's a cat, not a dog. Well I'll have you know that my cat does tricks.

My point is this. Say for example you are a woman who wants to be a man. All you've ever experienced is being a woman, so what makes you be a man? They say you don't miss what you've never experienced. So to say ''oh I am trapped in the wrong body'' is utter bull**** because all you've never experienced life in the other body.

What would you know about what's going through their heads? What could you possibly tell someone about how they should or shouldn't feel? You just sound like an arrogant ignoramus with diarrhea of the mouth.

So you're saying if I had some doubt about myself being a man, you'd say I was wrong? What makes you so high and mighty to choose what is right and wrong with what people really feel? Your words are disgusting.

No, it's not BS. Biological sex and gender are two different things. You can be (for example) biologically female, but not identify with the female gender, i.e. you feel you'd have a better life as a man, a more fulfilling life let's say, because although you're biologically female, you don't personally identify as one. You don't have to have belonged to the other gender to know what you identify with and what you don't identify with. You also don't need to have experienced something to know what you're missing, especially in this case - you're female, but you get a sense of what it's like to be a man because of all the males around you - it's obvious when it's right in front of you.

This song fits perfectly here

"Here come Dick, he's wearing a skirt
Here comes Jane, y'know she's sporting a chain
Same hair, revolution
Same build, evolution
Tomorrow who's gonna fuss?"

Oh deary me! Do you really believe it's as straightforward as this?

Just completely wrong. How do you know what happens when someone feels they identify more with a female or male side and decide to follow that path? It may lead to gender reassignment and if you've seen some of the results you would not say they don't look like women (can't speak for ftm I must admit). If a guy feels like putting on women's clothes and looks pretty good in them, and could "pass" you're trying to say people will still know he's a man? They may, if they look hard, but they may not. Who says guys can't mimic female mannerisms? Women certainly can do the reverse.

And anyway, even if people DO know he's a guy, what's to stop a guy (with or without hormone treatment) starting to speak softer, be more in tune with his surroundings, more open about feelings, more interested in girly stuff? You can't call it BS because you are not in a position to make that call. You might as well say nobody can be gay. Give me a break.

Edit: this guy is the same one who with his first posts began slagging off Hendrix and causing controversy. Are we witnessing the work of a troll, I wonder?

I'm certain this troll has been on the forum before, he just seems to have reincarnated himself as Ziggy.
