One thing that stuck with me was that apparently there are on average 7 rat hairs in a jar of peanut butter. Doesn't bother me as there is fuck all I can do to stop it but just letting you all know.

There is also an allowance for a percentage of rodent excrement, and insect particles too.

Just an FYI.

Lol. Peanut butter is just not part of Balkan or Greek foods so it's rare in that part of the world. I first tried it when I was in the UK.

Glad I could help, and sweet dreams my little princess.

I'm sorry to hear that. I had the misfortune of trying UK peanut butter before as well.

When I ate it my first thought was, "Oh, so this is why British people hate peanut butter."

Presumably the Brits are not connoisseurs of corn syrup, salt, and hydrogenated vegetable oil. Obviously ground up peanuts and oil is gonna taste repulsive.

I don't recall there being evidence of oil in the peanut butter I had over there.

I didn't think it was that bad, but then again I had nothing to compare it with.

The National Security Agency makes its own peanut butter?

Isbjørn 01-22-2014 02:29 PM

For every jar you buy, you get a FREE secret tracking device!

The Batlord 01-23-2014 12:38 PM

And if you buy crunchy you're put on the terrorist watch list.

Ha.

I was in Qatar in 2012 and the whole time I'm noticing that all the deserts are made of, or contain chocolate. So I'm working with our client on day 5 and I said "hey, how come I never see anything with peanut butter over here?"

She basically told me that it was for poor people and they wouldn't think to serve it in the Western hotels.
