Lol. Peanut butter is just not part of Balkan or Greek foods so it's rare in that part of the world. I first tried it when I was in the UK.

Presumably the Brits are not connoisseurs of corn syrup, salt, and hydrogenated vegetable oil. Obviously ground up peanuts and oil is gonna taste repulsive.

I don't recall there being evidence of oil in the peanut butter I had over there.
