I'm fascinated that they've invented robots that can exhibit such human-like behavior. I think everyone can see that Goofle11 exhibits traits of a true AI, which would be an astounding scientific advancement, but he's apparently unable to perceive this - presumably because actual AI is still at least a decade away.

Sorry. One of the biggest misconceptions that I have about myself is that I can get drunk, go online, and make jokes that don't make me look like an asshole

I think in a roundabout sort of way he was saying that he said something that may have come off as him being an *******, but the misconception gets in the way. Engine is a riddle sometimes trapped in a conundrum in a glass case of emotion.
