I dated a guy who wanted to become a woman, and he asked me if he would mind if he changed his gender. I had no problem with it because I had a deep connection with him. Unfortunately, through the transition, we parted ways and we just don't even speak anymore. I've dated men and women, and I have never really seen much difference in the connection I get. The relationship I have now is possibly the strongest connection I've ever had with someone. I know it's the love that'll last forever. Sometimes you just know.

I know how you feel with my partner I feel like we're soul mates. I ****ed up the first time by cheating on her but she ended up forgiving me for it and we've been going strong and became closer ever since. She's the reason why I quit drugs and finally got my life back in order. I honestly couldn't picture life/living without her.

Same with myself. I quit smoking and drinking because I knew my relationship would be stronger because of it. We celebrated our one year on Valentines day.

I don't wanna make this thread go too off topic, but yeah. If someone i'm with ever wanted to change genders, I wouldn't question it. It's none of my business and my connection with them wouldn't change. I don't see how it would anyway. When I fall in love with someone, I fall in love with the person inside, not the features on the outside.
