In canada, when you apply for a name change after marriage, not only is it free, but you can change it to anything. I might just have to, but I plan on getting a bsc in computer science so it'll be weird when science gets a bachelors of science in computer science.

I think you have to get fingerprinted here or at least have a criminal check or something. But that's it and they don't even charge you for your new birth certificate.
