your not, i dont take things that serious. but i would say you are wrong, Jesus said himself, "Go therefore and make diciples of peoples of all the inhabited earth, for a witness to all the nations." That intails preaching. J.C. is our exampler and what did he do while he was here. He preached. so if i have the opportunity to do it here, then so be it. but if not then i will be going against my bible trained mind.

^ Well, maybe we just have a different word for the same thing. Preaching is the meat, witnessing is the milk (I'm sure you know what I'm saying). You can't feed them the meat before they have their milk.

i don't think that preaching is a necessity for being a good Christian...

Completely agree... Course you dont have to preach, I know I dont. I hardly ever even feel the need to tell people what I believe in... Not that there's any shame in it, but I just have no reason to randomly say "Im a methodist"...

Anyways, rambling now... Ill hush.

this denomination stuff confuses me, i don't really know what differentiates one protestant denomination from another, or for that matter what differentiates the Catholics from the protestants and orthodox...i think the Mormons or the Jehovah's witnesses believe that only a certain number of people can get into heaven, like a specific number, which is quite ridiculous in my opinion...

man, i read the title ("what are you?") and it surprises me that no one's made fun of that shit yet..
anyways, i'm an orthodox and the thing is that by growing up i keep forgetting to think about God and that gets me awfully depressed.... but i wanna believe He's up there, cause He'd be like the only one that really knows me and i never have to explain anything to Him.... that's what keeps my faith alive (even though i have my doubts)

everyone has doubts, me too...but i refuse to believe there's nothing mystical about this world and the universe, that there's no reason for existence and the fact that only human beings from all the species on this planet have consciousness...why does dying for example feel good ( by that i mean the fact that people who have had near death experiences describe it as a feeling of pure joy and happiness), why not just die without it...there has to be a reason for everything...and that's how i come to the conclusion that there is a higher power...

ive been baptised, but dont believe in anything. i think that when we die, we rot in the ground, and that nothing happens to us, no heaven, no sprits, nada. i believe they'res no gods, nothing.
