Good post. I like that... I like to believe that everything happens for some reason too, but when I talk to people who think differently, they say how they like to be in charge of their own lives, and they like to feel like they're alive for more of a reason than just some plan for mankind.

Yeah, that was all badly written, sorry bout that... It might make some sense if you concentrate hard enough.

for mankind?...i think i'm alive because MY soul has to go through certain experiences before moving on to a higher form of existence...

i can understand the way you feel but for some people (myself included) the idea that when you die thats the end... theres nothing else is kind of like a comfort to be able to know theres always an end... like i dont wannna go and hang round in heaven when i die... if that makes any sense whatsoever

I sorta get what you are saying. Its nearly impossible to wrap my head around the idea that nothing exists after we die though (since I've never believed it, and it doesn't make sense to me). Personally, I would like to go to a place of eternal joy (Heaven, which is just wherever God is), to spend forever in. I just can't really see the idea of dying and *poof*, your gone. I think there is more to us than that. But like I said, I can sorta see what your saying.

i'm too chatolic to think in that way...but i shure hope there's a life after death...if nothing else, i hate the idea that some people are not going to answer for what they've done in this life...
