And you also seemed to assume that you knew more about film than most people here (you still do) even though you were clearly much younger than some of us who've been into film since, like, you were born. That was a turn-off.
Later you started posting about your job creeping into old houses which was pretty cool and then you showed us your car dashboard camera recordings which are awesome. I especially liked when you drove into that telephone pole and told your passenger that he should have been wearing his seatbelt.
I did always like your posting style and appreciated your opinions, but as I often do around here, I bit my tongue when I really wanted to respond to your posts like, "Yeah, I saw that movie 15 years ago in the theater, you're not saying anything new and you've only seen it once" but I don't do that because you're young and you're talking to an even younger audience so it would have felt wrong, pointless, and self-indulgent to challenge you. Those were my first impressions.

My film "career" came late. I would always watch some weird film 20 times over the classics. I only recently saw the Godfather series for the first time. I also never try to come off snobby. I like your honestly friend. That and we've discussed things in chat. You know whats up.
My first impressions of you were that you were a quiet angry albiet smart person who had a fascination with trains due to your avatar. I learned as time went by that we have a lot of the same interests and that you have a f*cking awesome Herzog shirt that I want really bad. Also, I'm 23...you don't seem that much older than me but I could be wrong of course.
