More number worship. What is wrong with people who judge themselves by the number of days that their bodies have existed on this planet? That's never made sense to me. If you must judge yourself, how about using your physical health or your mental acuity as your metric? What has happened to you poor children who fear aging?

I'm 21.

The fear is not aging.
It is that with aging, they have not found the purpose for doing so.
Which is understanding that age has no purpose.

Purpose worship. Nobody is born with a purpose.
I'm not sure I understand you but if you're no longer under the delusion that your life has a purpose, and still don't mind living, then your aging process will go more smoothly.

Perhaps a tender cavity has been poked.
Delusions make the world go round...
But if I am to address what you may not have understood about my post...
To speak as one who is the same age as those of "the generation of poor children who fear aging", their fear stems from ignorance not true fear of the number.

It definitely has, hence the age-fear.
But I disagree with you about delusions. They make the world stop for people who live with them.

Hey, you edited your post as I was responding to it so..
edit: uh, yeah, maybe we agree on the delusion thing?

If I may be Zeal's poster child, the world needs to stop once in a while to come to the realization that age is not a process it just comes with the goody bag. The word delusion is annoying me now lol.....
