As to Google/Spotify, thanks but I don't care. I'm one of the few who seldom if ever uses his phone for music. I have music players for that. It's just annoying when I might need it from time to time, but resetting seems a pain. Yeah I have the latest Android, Lolly-****ing-pop. Where do they get these names? What's next? Candyfloss? I am gay? Steal my phone?

Motorola Droid Maxx. Mark my words - I will be the last man on this planet grandfathered-in to unlimited data with Verizon. I will continue to burn through ~120 GB a month streaming lossless audio and HD video from my server without fear of throttling or data caps.
The simple compromise is that, to retain my grandfathered status, I must purchase my phones myself (as opposed to free upgrades.) So every 2-3 years, I throw $90 at a refurbished model on Amazon, flip my previous phone for $60, and keep right on truckin'. Damn the man. Save the empire.

Anyone see the new Google phones? I look forward to these every year since Nexus 4.
https://madeby.google.com/phone/ At those prices, I don't think so. |

yeah, I'm definitely passing on those. Not worth it. Plus, it's better to wait around for second or third generation.
Let those other idiots beta test this version.

I guess the price isn't too bad if you want to get the payment plan for the phone.
27 bucks a month. 31 bucks a month for the larger one and it's for 2 years.
