I have that. It's not so much a phone as a mini-computer in your pocket really. And the fact you can control it by voice or air gestures may be silly but it's really cool.
Very expensive here: about 500/600 Euro but I got mine for 89 by changing my network. Definitely worth it!

I would probably get the Samsung Galaxy S5 if it weren't for 2 small things: 1) the HTC One has a bigger focus on sound quality, and I listen to a lot of music on my phone. 2) the HTC One is more physically beautiful, and yes, I am shallow like that. Once I have a new phone in my hands, I promise I will stop spamming this thread with useless posts because once I have it, it will become just another thing that facilitates my life. But the deciding, oh, the deciding.

The thing that I like about the Galaxy S, well I need to upgrade to 3 for the chip but I love the idea of just tapping my phone to pay for things in stores instead of using those ancient credit cards because woo technology. The only drawback is not enough stores have the tap and go pay system.

I'd say at least half of my posts here are done on my Galaxy S3 wifi-only device. |

My BlackBerry died in between paychecks, so I went for a penny phone for my upgrade. I got the HTC First, I.e. the "Facebook phone," and it is actually a fantastic Android device. I disabled the Facebook OS and have just been running Jellybean. It has pretty solid specs, too. 1gb RAM, front and rear cameras with similar specs to the iPhone 4s, responsive touchscreen...really happy with it.

Makes very little sense to blame the physical phone. |

He's not talking about connection speed. It's all about the phone's UI. And he's definitely right about the iPhone 3. Too small and too slow.

AND a galaxy s3–which is what he said only used wifi I believe. Also, a smartphone is primarily a phone first and foremost, and should not be judged based solely on its internet browsing capabilities. That just doesn't make any sense. A computer can be judged on that, but not a smartphone. |
