Yeah I am biased against Apple but the top phones are all pretty much the same. So if you aren't into technical differences just get whatever you want. The HTC One, Galaxy S and Iphone are very similar.
I would honestly go in that order I listed though hut that is my personal preference because **** Apple. Apple will never see a dime of my money.

In this case I think I need to get past my hangups about being seen as an Apple fanatic and just go with what feels right. I'm not in a rush though and I know someone who gave up their iPhone 4 for an HTC One so I'm going to investigate that option further.

Engine the iPhone 5s has the exact same spec as the Galaxy S2 which came out over three years earlier.
IMO best bang for buck would be Nexus 5 (out of the flagships, Moto G for budget) and it is most customisable. I haven't upgraded from the 4 cos no need but it's a beast of a phone. Only thing I'd point out is expendable memory and camera is poor. Plus you can't replace the battery. But nothing touches it imo. EDIT: & HTC One is 5*, would get man. Agree with DJ's pecking order. ^Thanks. After a considerable amount of more research, I'm almost definitely going to get the HTC One. The newest version has a removable memory slot which was something previously holding it back from competitors.
Flossy Carter has given me a lot of great insight

Have you had a look at the Nexus 5? Newer & cheaper (from £299 sim free, HTC One is £369).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pni1rlrgnZw Not that the HTC One is bad, just make sure you look at the Nexus. Stock Android. I had the GS2 & since using stock Android I don't think I'll buy anything else. It really is the dog's bollocks. As said it doesn't have removable memory but you can get the 16gb or 32gb model, both are more than enough. I have the 16gb Nexus 4, never got close to using all of it. Also keep in mind, when Android gets updates you will get them straight away on Nexus devices. You will wait months for them to roll out on other devices. |
