Default Alas Goodbye

Somewhat puzzled Lucky stares at her screen after discovering her thread has been locked for unexplained reasons. "Do musicians have no need for new words? Aren't songs sparked by new ideas?" Smiling Lucky eats her crisps and decides to move along to another forum. "Any who liked reading her words will have no trouble finding and following her."

Also puzzled, duga reviews Luckyme's posts and decides that talking in the third person is just as weird on a forum as it is in real life. "Later," duga replies.

What is your reason for speaking in 3rd person? Your storytelling responses seem to express some out of body being than just speaking firmly for yourself. It was mildly amusing I guess, but hard to converse with.

Anyway bye then.

You read the post of the username you don't recognise. You notice it says 0 posts next to their name, so you go ahead and reply in the only perspective not yet used in the thread relating the typist of the same post (is this case, that would be you, Face). You wonder if it's correct, or even worth it, but you've done it now so you might as well click post.

It's kinda like the Seinfeld episode, "The Jimmy."

"It's a tragedy," said the astronaut, wiping tears from his eyes. "But what is tragedy really? Tears in the rain? Dog poop in brownies? Blips from random third-person talking jackasses on some server somewhere? In the end, only the demi-gods of literary affectation will ever really know."

(in fact, the goblin thanked the humans for their somewhat undue concern about him and his welfare upon their forum reassuring them that he was quite comfortable at this point upon their designated spam thread in this section now, saying "...nah, to be honest with you, it just gets a bit boring to write in first person each time where most fiction is actually done in third person with narration, I mean I'm not here to make enemies of you now, where admittedly I wasn't too impressed by your posts either, so if you'll just excuse me I guess I'll just wander back to the spam thread at this point as we don't want to keep our readers waiting do we, so see you there then...")
