Yeah, that's the one! He wasn't even being pithy, which is what makes it so funny!

It isn't? Why does it say his name after it then? Also, I'm pretty sure I heard him say that in an interview, although of course he may have been quoting someone. I think the proper quote is "I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy"...

Wow! Rarely does anyone peg us so accurately, right from the off! And he says that like it's a bad thing...

Why don't we post what our favourite quotes from MB are?

I was just saying that I have two quotes in my signature and the one that isn't Tom Waits was my favorite of the year. And just to answer your comment, he's said that quote a couple of times. It isn't his but I love how he says it. The quote in my sig was when he said it on a talk show.

Em, that's what the thread is for?? That was the whole idea behind it, or did I not make that clear? Sorry, I thought I had.

Right, right, I see! Thought I was going even more senile there for a moment... So it's not his own? Really sounds like something he'd come up with, though, don't it? Specially during like a piano interlude on "Nighthawks" or something...
