Well, someone on whichever forum he visited is bound to have him on facebook. So I'm guessing they could of found out about it from there...

Ppphhhhhhhhttt... Motor boat!

He would've like that.

C'mon! Celebrate the mans contribution to the world, don't complicate it.

From his Facebook page? I know that's how Muzic Forums found out.

I'm still in disbelief that he's gone. It's like it's finally hitting me that he's never coming back and won't be posting anymore about sex, music or just general banter. I remember him grossing me out about something sexual which makes me chuckle now because he was always there to either cheer you up or freak you out with his conquests or fantasies.

I'll be like everyone else and post a song for Duc(k/e). I remember he was a pretty big Huun Huur-Tu fan, and this song seems appropriate for the occasion:

I guess, I just didn't consider people from forums added each other on facebook.

I was skeptical at first myself, but then when it seem clear it did happen I felt sad for him.
It was just a joke, like it would make more sense that he died getting gunned down by the police or from some sex act gone horribly wrong.

I assume it was auto erotic asphyxiation. It's what he would've wanted.

That's a joke, but I honestly think that he'd want to go out ****ing.

Thought that I should share this with you guys. RIP Howard/Duce
One of the best new bands to come out in the late 80's/early 90's. So he had good taste in music in addition to a friendly nature.

This is shocking. For all my years in forums, this is only the second virtually confirmed death I've experienced, and Howard wasn't old. RIP.

I can't now falsify my feelings toward the man as a user of this forum in the time he visited here. That has been set in stone. So I wasn't always his biggest fan, but that was usually down to the content and frequency of his posts here. I also don't think I was particularly rude to him or anything but accept that, on occasion, I may not have been particularly welcoming.

I don't know what he was like personally, but you can get a sense for that kind of thing on forums and he seemed harmless, quirky, clearly had a sense of humour and basically any previous negativity I may have felt certainly had nothing to do with his personality or at least what parts of it he showed here.

I too am wondering about the circumstances here and whether or not the explanation offered is legitimate or not. While it doesn't really matter, I do hope that his life and ultimately his death have not been more negative or gloomy than we may know.

It is undeniable that he had a presence and a profile here and I feel that the lack of it over the last few weeks has been noticeable. I feel for the people in his life and his loved ones and I, of course, wish to pay my respect and offer my condolences, including to anybody on this site who may have bonded with him in some way and are maybe feeling it right now.

R.I.P
