I'm hoping that 5-10 years from now I am satisfied enough with my "real life" that I don't care about being on forums any more.

Well as of this month I have been here 7 years, with 2008 where I left unintentionally and I feel like it's gone so fast! So absolutely. This is like my online family/friends where I flirt with the resident asshole, am in the popular group and hang out with lonely muso's. Total opposite of high school for me.

I don't know if satisfaction has anything to do with it. I'm at a pretty satisfied and content phase in my life right now and I still frequent this and other forums , along with Facebook and Twitter and Instagram. I might not post but that does not mean I'm not apart of the forum.Its a social thing.There is beauty in knowing there's complete strangers that know the best and worst of you, most of the time judgment free. I mean yeah there's difference of opinions or debates but at the end of the day there is a consensus that you are part of this community.
