Does it snow in Montana? It's a prairie, right, so I don't imagine there would be a lot of snow anyways. I heard the Great Plains are pretty dry.
actually Montana has tons of mountain ranges including part of the the Rockies....and it snows quite a bit up there

i've driven across Montana a few times and it is absolutely gorgeous....very little sprawl and a real isolationist feeling....i can see why Ted decided to write his manifesto there.....the Gallatin River canyon is by far one of the most amazing places i've seen in the US

it's a beautiful state to see but i prefer my whores and casinos

I drove through Montana once, with a friend, on a cross country trip from the west coast to the east coast and we came upon this...

We didn't have time to check it out and to be truthful, the thought of eating 'rocky mountain oysters' makes me lose my appetite.
It sure does look like a wild party, though!

I will be trying rocky mountain oysters the first time I get the chance. I heard they're pretty decent. Can't be any worse than pig brains (which are just okay) or cow tongue (which is freaking amazing).

It's only ever like that two weeks out of the summer, for the Symphony of Fire event, the rest of the time it's a pretty nice beach. Lots of big logs spread out evenly across the beach so you have somewhere to set up camp. Great beach to trip on too, I did shrooms once before the fireworks and it was seriously more amazing than sex.

Right, Montana means "Mountain" in Spanish. The West of the state is embedded in the Rocky's, the East has random splotches of Mountains amongst the prairie & Badlands.

Meh, I'm not too familiar with Spaghetti Western's beyond the obvious titles, but if you've seen the series "Deadwood", Eastern Montana would be analogous.
