I'm passionate about circumcision.

It happens so much now for religious reasons and otherwise, that men don't even think logically. I know some that boast about having a circumsised penis.

Just LOL at cutting a piece of your dick off. LOL at boasting about being mutilated when you were too young to even consent. Fuckin idiots.

This shouldn't even be legal, it's child abuse.

I know a Turkish guy, who was circumsised at the age of about 11. His family did it at an Imam's house, filmed it, then showered him with money afterward, he says he's still got the video. He tried to run off but they grabbed him and held him down apparently. Spent the next few weeks secretly trying to pull the stitches out at night and being in agony whenever he got in the bath or had a piss.

Brutal.

Dude, you just told me the story of my boyfriend (also Turkish, but had it done at age 7). The thing is, families are sooooo freaking obsessed with their sons here, and they treat them like princes. The circumcision ceremony (Sunnet) is like the best thing ever for a Turkish family, because their son will be doted on by tens or hundreds of people, given gold, and danced with. It's like the presentation of their son to the wider family or village and it is so effing important it makes me sick. I had to watch my boyfriend's on video also, and it made me want to vomit.

Another Moroccan guy I know has a picture of himself crying on his day (age 8), with tears streaming down his face hanging in his parent's living room above the dining table. ****ING CREEPY

Circumcision is also something I'm passionately against, Fluffy. We can bond about it for days if you want.

haha

But the Moroccan guy bit; seriously, what the fuck? People's families actually do this to them in a ceremony?

In the back of my mind I thought there may have been a chance this Turkish lad I know could be exaggerating slightly, I didn't know this was a regular thing with Turkish families.

I just typed 'Sunnet' into Google images Bad enough being circumcised when you're a baby and have no memory of it but at 8-9 years old is just barbaric. Do you know why they film it?

The happy memories?

I'm circumcised, but it was as a baby, I didn't even realise I was until I was about 13. I thought later life circumcision was limited to african tribes.

How do you feel about it? I don't think I've ever spoke to a circumcised bloke who was arsed about being circumcised to be fair.

It's funny you say you didn't realise you were circumcised though, as I had a weird experience but the other way round. I saw porn at the age of about 11 and the guys in it were obviously circumcised, so I spent the next few weeks trying to rip my frenulum in the bath as I thought I was deformed

I dunno. I mean I suppose I'd prefer if I wasn't. Would orgams be more pleasurable or just easier, I dunno. But they do the trick at the moment anyway...so I'm not too fussed.

When I first heard about circumcision, I thought it was cutting the head off. I mean my dick was normal and fine, so what exactly could they cut off? And then, because that was circumcision, I though hooded ones were just a different type...like outie innie belly buttons....

My family went to turkey before I was born and my brother seen a young boy around his age getting money pinned to him and various other things that my brother wanted. My brother asked my mum why they were doing it and she explained. Needless to say he would've rather kept the skin on his penis than have it haunt him for the rest of his life.

I'm pretty sure they film it because it's akin to a first birthday -- momentous time of life. Also since all the great-granddaddies are there and everyone gets caught on film, it's nice to look back on. It's also, like I said, a big party. Drunkness ensues.

Anyway back to the consequences themselves, I prefer uncirc'd guys because they, in my experience, simply enjoy sex more and seriously get the most out of it. All the circ'd guys I've slept with (~10) were conspicuously fast and just generally not as fun in bed. This could be coincidence, or the fact that they were mostly Americans. (Hah...)

I'm glad that some women prefer uncircumcised. Seems to be a trend of both male and females who think a circumcised knob is fashionable and better looking and uncircumcised is ugly and dirty.
