Oddest Characters on the Internet.

Just like my journey through life, ever since my first visit into the world wide web, I've come across a fair few characters.

People who really make one think whether or not the internet is a place I should occupy in. I'm not talking internet trolls who thrive on provoking reactions from others from questionable, stupid, controversial or down right indecent content.
I'm talking people, who are legitimately creepy or so simple minded that they're inadvertently comic geniuses.

Yes, this is an appreciation thread for those characters who make the internet the ****ed up place it is.

What's this? A low quality video showing no signs of coherence.
Yes, but this guy offers so much more as his facebook shows.

Andrew Mizanin | Facebook

Basically, this guy has an odd obsession with a professional wrestler by the name of The Miz.
So much so, that he's gone to great lengths to prove the two of them are kindred spirits.

He is also a photo shop wizard.

If some of you are interested in his status's (I have taken the liberty of adding him as a facebook friend) here's a selection of the less descriptive status's about he and his 'hubby'

Quote:

Quote:

Textin Mikey again He is So Funny, Plus He is An Amazing Guy Who Completes My Heart in Many Ways Loving Him Slow Dancing Cuddling Time With Him!! :) ♥
There are many more, but where this young man really excels is his really creepy videos on his alternative YouTube channel.

(Yup, it does appear he's got his sister convinced that he really is married)

Okay, I've got many more characters to share with y'all, if interest is decent. I'll add more to this thread, if not, ah well. Maybe someone will get some enjoyment/nightmares from the above content.

Stephen 07-24-2012 09:21 PM

TBH that just makes me feel kind of sad for him.

PoorOldPo 07-25-2012 07:35 AM

Woah...

GuitarBizarre 07-25-2012 08:15 AM

This guy. Just... what the hell?

Blarobbarg 07-25-2012 08:37 AM

Easy answer. He's a crossdresser.

Also, he's very good.

Plankton 07-25-2012 08:51 AM

I hear she's available...

The creepiest thing about the Asian cross-dresser is that anime type music he's playing along too.
Always sounds sinister to me. I also think he's a little bit too old to play a convincing school girl. Nice guitar skills though.

And plankton, dude that vid's viral. Everyone's seen it. Keep up ;)

Plankton 07-25-2012 11:46 AM

I know, I know... I'm tryin.

14232949 07-25-2012 04:29 PM

It's okay Plankton, I'm sure you'll strike gold soon.

In a more light hearted post than my thread opener. Here's a guy who reviews items of food.

A man so content in his simple minded ways, yet for some reason I find this guy absolutely hilarious.

This guy should drop acid in his next video.

14232949 07-25-2012 05:30 PM

there's a 32 minute long video of him drunkenly having a skype chat and reviewing some playsation games. Mind blowing stuff.

He has *50* videos.

And honestly, most of them aren't anime music, they're Jpop chart hits.

Edward Muscari's youtube channel

This gentleman has apparently since passed away, and his nearly equally frightening relative (?) has taken over the channel. Mr. Muscari was also a convicted sex offender who was sent back to prison for violating his parole by having said youtube channel.

When I first stumbled upon this channel, Ed Muscari was not in jail, and was posting videos regularly. Nothing on the world wide web has ever inspired such fear in my heart as this man's youtube channel.

Here is one of the ones that just made me uneasy for some reason:

One that thoroughly creeped me out:

And one thing I have never been able to unsee:

When I say that this man has been in my nightmares, I'm not using that as a figure of speech, exaggeration, or whatever. His videos have legitimately made me more uneasy than anything I have ever seen in my life.

14232949 07-26-2012 06:38 AM

^That guy is absolutely mental!

Some of the best videos I've ever seen. The walking one is so funny because it's true.
The shadow song makes me think of what the few remaining humans will be singing come the inevitable apocalypse when they've lost all hope and sanity.

And the backscratching video with the suckling dog. Well, that actually made me gasp.
It's been a while since the internet has done that. Bravo.

And this guy.

Lee L. Mercer Jr. is one of the strangest people I've come across in my internet travels.
I first heard about him in 2008, when he decided to run for Office of President of the United States of America.
Here's the link to his 2008 campaign website...

Mercer For President 2008

The welcome page isn't too out of the ordinary, but when you click on the 'About Lee L. Mercer Jr.' link in the navigation menu, things get weird.
When you get to the August 22, 1992 entry, things get weirder.
And when you click on the 'Reasons for Candidacy' link, the weirdness goes over the top and off the cliff!
In fact, this guy is so bizarre, it makes me wonder if he really exists or is just an internet hoax.
Amusing reading, either way.

14232949 07-26-2012 10:28 AM

It sounds almost as if he's an android sent to win presidency to complete his 'biography' which he mentions numerous times.
Must be a troll haha.

Also, back to ThePhanastasio's post.

The old man Edarem originally struck me as creepy. But having watched more of his videos, I now find him endearing. The joy he takes in little things and his natural charisma make everything he does so interesting.

It saddened me greatly to learn that what brought him to the dance also lead to his downfall.

Yes, it turns out Edarem was in violation of his probation by posting videos of himself to the internet. He had earlier served jail time for sexual offences in the 80's.
He died earlier this year :(

GuitarBizarre 07-26-2012 01:13 PM

Meet Tim Tyler.

He's a very obsessive man.

He makes videos about things.

Mrd00d 07-26-2012 02:17 PM

Does Maddox of The Greatest Page In the Universe! fame count as an odd character? His site is over 10 years old now. He still updates. He tried coming into the new age with youtube but his ugly mug gets in the way of most people's mental idea of him. But yeah, he's a critical piece of the internet.

And then there's Ms. Peachez...

Neapolitan 07-26-2012 05:01 PM

I really don't care about what people have to say via youtube. Stevie Rik was the first one I saw on youtube that was kinda interesting enough that I didn't pass over, and that I wanted watched more of tham. I didn't see them all, he has vids in the hundreds. Some of his videos are a bit corny but ever so often he does a video that I laugh at his crazy antics. His schtick is UK Rock Stars - he's pretty good at it too. Sometime impersonations are spot on, and others times they're apperently fake - he does it all for the lulz.

Just like Paul McCartney

Since Randy Prozac HAS NO YOUTUBE AND NEVER WILL, I can't embed these, but for your viewing pleasure, here are his goat worship videos.

His entire site is pretty wacked out and incredibly interesting, even though (because?) his worldview is completely ****ed. He even puts out recordings, which are being retroactively compiled into big free digital box sets for your listening pleasure. Warning, though, that a lot of his stuff is highly NSFW and pretty uniformly bizarre.

She was in the bed but he was by the window... sounds like a peeping Tom. "She turned psycho, September 2000.." She probably caught him and freaked out on him.

Laser 07-28-2012 02:03 PM

None of those creep me out more than the peeps I'm running into now. But yeah, it all creeps me out.
