i remember when our fight club started out. i needed to blow off some steam and i didn't know how. so i asked my friend if i could punch him. and he was like "sure, why not?". so i did. and then he did it to me and then we just went back and forth. then we astarted to grown in numbers. i think the biggest we were was about fifteen.

^thats quite a group you had goin'. There was only about 5 five of us that wanted to do any of that crazy stuff. All the rest only trained in the club I used to go to. I don't really like regimented forms of martial art. It's like they do this and block that and then you do this and you've won....Not gonna happen. Boxing was good to get your punches accurate, fast and hard, but what if you box and someone takes you to the floor and starts to grapple...... Thats why we started mixing it up with the no holds, anything go's stuff we used to do. It's more all round

Nah man, you get into that mentality if you get serious about training. We didn't get together just so we could hurt each other. It was pressure testing everything we thought we knew and whether we could actually do it if it came down to it. It's psychological as well. You start to over come the initial freeze that’s comes with threatening situations. Your able to remain calm and loose, and concentrate on avoiding attacks and making your attacks hit home. It also strengthens the body to impact from blows.

lets see what you got adidasss. i think you all talk!
and as for walkin' i think me and the kid that started it were the only ones who took it really seriously. we trained. gave pointers to eachother. punched eachother in the face. it was good times. great oldies.

I haven't trained properly for a a good 2-3 yrs now. I wouldn't mind gettin into it again. It'll take me about 2-3 months to get back in shape if I train hard (weights, running, pad work, quit smoking.......). I can't be arsed though, I'm too lazy nowadays......
