Can I post my singing? I don't feel too comfortable when I speak English because my accents is a little bit awful. And I honestly dig my singing voice more than my speaking voice anyway.

blah. Could not make it work. This microphoneis my brother`s and maybe i do not know how it works. everything seemed to be alright but still vocaroo complained that nothing was recorded. Whatever. Sorry, now you can not hear how i do my awful Neil Young imitation. luckily its not a big loss.

Hearing a person's voice is a far better way of getting an overall sense of a person's energy (for lack of a better word).

A forum I once frequented had a thread like this, except everyone was to post a recording reciting an excerpt from a book of their choosing (to eliminate the anxiety of not knowing what to say) which worked pretty well.
