My favorite decade is probably the 1990s. I was younger then and the music just affected me differently. I really enjoyed the grunge and alternative rock era if that's what ya wanna call it. The 90s in general is probably just a nostalgic thing for me

I'm well aware that these things still happen, and that there is a gender gap. That wasn't my point. My point was that progress has been made. You just sounded like you were saying that no progress has been made, and sometimes I'm not sure whether you're being serious or using hyperbole.

It's hardly any progress anymore, we're pretty much regressing now, undoing all the progress that has been made

I would have liked to have seen Genesis in the Gabriel era.

Its all subjective and i don't take offense to your assessment. I lived the 80's and i loved it.
To come to the conclusion and say that I don't like "Thrash/Punk/New Wave" because I don't like Jacko or Hair Metal is a non sequitur.

I found the 1960s to be a generally fun decade but I also equally enjoyed the 2000s. Too bad this decade has gotten off to a bad start, for me anyway.

I wouldn't mind visting the 802,700's, after the Morlocks are destroyed that is.

Default The 80's baby!

Now I gotta say when it come music and dance (and some pop cult fashions) I gotta give it up for tha 1980's! Also not just in tha US but in tha UK aswell, who here remembers a group known as Imagination?!? You gotta admit the 00's was just an upgraded version of the 80's when it come to the technology and social behaviors.

I also have to add that there where many electric political throw downs happenin'. Plus all them wars that were ragging on, my fav was tha Afghan-Soviet war. Tha 70's and 60's would come in 2nd and 3rd for me, peace!
