This doesn't make sense to me. If they're overweight they're overweight, it has nothing to do with my weight.

I would like to hear these actually. I haven't been able to gain weight since I was like 15.

I eat regularly and sometimes not as healthy as some would like. I'm a sucker for junk food and chocolate. People tend to think i'm like 5 years younger because of it. Ha.

Eating a lot of fatty food can be unhealthy. Considering me unhealthy then. But i'm still 130 pounds.

Woah, I weigh more than both of you. I'm 6'1" and 165 lbs. But I wear a size 10, sometimes a 12.

Well I'm pretty low bf, trying to get in shape cause I wanna do boxing over the summer. The lower your weight at a taller height, the more an advantage you have.

And you do really need to stop letting people get you riled up.
You havent read a darned word of what I said. Stop throwing around the word judge like its candy. We are dealing with preference, not making personal judgements. I'd also advise you read my now-edited post since I changed some stuff to make it more clear.

But let me state for the record, I think you are very much acting as if to find skinny women more attractive than larger women is in some way wrong and/or some symptom of a chauvanist society, and in your last post that came across as a broad attack against men in general, and specifically the men in this thread, when you made a sweeping, overarching statement about "our" supposed unrealistic expectations.

The problem being of course that with a few exceptions, nobody here has stated their expectations of women as much as they have been stating their personal preference. Certainly there are few enough exceptions that an overly general statement like that was unnecessary, even misleading.

And yes, AwwSugar, I agree, and I think most of us are aware that HHBH is clueless and sexist.

Yeah I can see it doesn't make sense, but I think I meant it from a stone throwing sense.

I used to be underweight, then I got to just over weight and now I'm normal. I think getting older has slowed my metabolism down.

165 really isn't that bad. It's pretty average in my opinion. I used to be 150 when I was young. I haven't grown much but I just burn calories quicker. For 6'1'' I would say that someone should be between 150 to 175 give or take 10 pounds each way. Honestly.

Isnt it more the waist ratio that attracts people anyways? Or the body shape more than the weight. Some people are apple guys some or pears.

Also true. There's way more to personal preference than just size, even in areas where size can play a significant role. Another reason to be sure of separating out preference vs judgement, and being very sure to remember they're two different things, that can potentially be entirely independent of each other.

We already have a thread for discussing working out: http://www.musicbanter.com/sport-rec...ut-thread.html

Take your discussion there. The thread has digressed so much from the original topic.

EDIT: I just moved the whole workout and nutrition discussion that was happening to the workout thread linked above. Cut out three pages of off-topic discussion here.
