Dreamcast; crazy taxi, chu chu rocket, virtual on the oratorio tangram (VO:OT), jet grind radio, etc. Shenmue was horrible, however; "....I'm looking for the men who killed my father." Nothing like running around having to open every_****ing_drawer_in_a_dresser_individually_.
These other playstations are for women.

It's very hard for me to choose between PS1/PS2. On the one hand, PS1 has the distinction of being my first gaming console and has a special place in my heart. But in terms of overall game library, including variety of genres represented and number of good games, the PS2 probably edges it. I still think PS1 may be my own personal favorite, but PS2 is probably the objectively better console. |

Let me put it this way; when I was younger, most music nerds I knew would not shut the **** up about Dream Theater. However, whenever I listened to Dream Theater, I just heard a eunuch with a godawful voice backed by group of jagoffs who masturbated with their instruments. Convinced that I was just wasn't getting it, I endured hours of listening to this band, until it dawned on me the music nerds I knew were mostly dumbasses and had horrible taste in music. Shenmue was like the Dream Theater.... for Dreamcast.

Absolutely. I don't ever wanna go back to non-hd format. I prefer the new engines in the latest consoles also. Gameplay is night and day from ps2 to 3. I still have a softspot for older consoles but they don't stand up to current consoles. Pulled out my sega genesis a few weeks back to play some streets of rage and that lasted about ten minutes. There is just no comparison.
