That's similar to what I just finished my contract doing. I was a digital specialist, getting in touch with business owners and building online ads for them for a social networking media site. Now I'm ill with something or rather, and am waiting for an operation before I get to work again. Currently on a sickness benefit.

Never actually earned a paycheck.

However I'm working on making music a career and I volunteer at a pet shop because I love working with animals and I want some experience on my CV.

at least you're doing something you love. If you manage to make a living doing the thing you love, well then I envy you.

Mhm.

Honestly, I don't really know if I want to make a living via music. I love it too much to get signed to a major label and get shelved for years.

Out of work masonry laborer. I could probably get another construction job since I have experience, but the only reason I did it is because it was my dad's business. I actually kind of miss it.
