Had my toenail removed last week and a chemical burn put on it to prevent regrowth. Pretty sore and it looks incredibly ****ing ugly.

It was a little at first, but I have grown used to it.

You have grown used to it. That was unintentionally funny.

Morning glory can get a bit painful when it hits the ceiling.

And they didn't do it laparoscopically either, so I have a 3 inch scar on my lower right abdomen now. That's actually what is hurting the most right now. Of course, all the muscle has to heal, and the skin, and all of that. My insides don't actually hurt at all. I got out of the hospital on Saturday and I'm feeling better now, but it still hurts...
Hemicolectomy...I had one of those too about 6 years ago. I've got a 20cm scar from the exploratory laparotomy and some holes where the tubes went, they had to rewire my small intestine into my large intestine too.

I hope you recover well, rougher than just an appendectomy but sounds like they caught it in time before it got too bad.

What was it like in Hospital? They wouldn't let me eat or drink for 2 weeks!

Freaky **** up close but I actually only show my scar to people I respect... I just tell people to **** off if they take it too lightly.
