Nothing unless it's self inflicted and I certainly DO count myself lucky in that respect.
I get the odd twinge in a muscle now and again or an ache here and there but that's just me getting older. The only thing I have is very very limited vision in my left eye so I don't actually use it and only see through one eye. I have regular optician checks and because of only using one eye to see with, it is much more efficient than most peoples on a single eye analysis. I am sure I will hit 60 and my body will turn around and kick me in the arse.

My only other constant pain is in my ring finger, which was broken during an Anal **** show, as I was sieg hailing, which offended this terrifically fat skinhead who apparently didn't realize he was at an Anal **** show... but, the cool thing was, when I was lying, sprawled out on the floor, they launched into a variety of songs about Hitler, and I got a girl out of it. So I count that as a win, even if it makes typing awkward.

Some of you know that I was in the hospital for like a week and a half because I had appendicitis that was so bad, my appendix ruptured. They had to go in there and take out the remnants of my appendix and a small part of my large intestine. And they didn't do it laparoscopically either, so I have a 3 inch scar on my lower right abdomen now. That's actually what is hurting the most right now. Of course, all the muscle has to heal, and the skin, and all of that. My insides don't actually hurt at all. I got out of the hospital on Saturday and I'm feeling better now, but it still hurts...

LOL thankfully no current injuries. My last major one was when I worked in a factory and sprained my back. When I left work to go to the doctor my back was going into spasm every minute or so. I alternated between walking along and twisting in pain. Apparently this looked similar to withdrawals because the cops stopped me and questioned me by the side of the road. Fun times. Mind you the commercial radio they pumped through the factory was a lot worse than the back sprain. Still can't listen to Billy Joel.

Usually back pains at my age, but because I do a lot of running that tends to aggravate it and the problem is further compounded by the mattress I'm sleeping on. Luckily that will eliminated shortly, as my normal mattress is arriving soon and that eliminates all back pains
Sometimes I lose feeling in my top thumbnail as it got squashed in a lorry door a couple of years ago and damaged the nerves, strangely enough the nail on that fingers grows harder and stronger than the rest. Used to get aching knees from running as well, but over the last year they've really improved, could be due to the fact I put better cushioning in my running shoes. |
