Surely don't have to care about what's "in" to care about what looks fucking awful? And I'm sure they are.

I see people like that walk around town all the time. Moreso in summer.

Yes, I do own a couple of pairs I love that I can get wet feet with these on and it doesn't really matter. I wear'em outside through most of summer.

edit :

Never with socks, though! You have to draw the line somewhere.

edit yet again :

People don't generally wear these today and I hope dearly they never become popular again. These kind of baggy stretch pants with wild colors and ****.

I remember they were quite popular here in the early 90s .. Good gods. People called them bodybuilder pants because they were popular with beefy types. >.<

Grandma boots that lose their shape after a week. Moccasins without the laces. Horrible things.

As for the cyber goths........ at least they are making an effort. I like it.

Every single female in the world wears those, i believe. This is merely based on personal observation, so it is yet to be confirmed.

Uggs are atrocious, trendy shit. Good god, why does every woman have a pair? Aren't they 200 dollar boots?

Bitch, please.

I really, really wish young women with pretensions of being hip would stop dressing like old ladies. It causes far too many, extremely awkward, rubbernecking moments.

Men should never, ever wear sandals, shorts, sleeveless shirts or anything that exposes their body too much unless they're at the damn beach or at home. That last thing I want to see is some goddamned arm pit hair, or gross, hairy, spindly legs. ****ing sick.

Have some respect for your fellow men and cover your **** up.

Reading that, it seems more like your problem than mine

I have to agree with Tore - men should never, ever wear sandals or shorts? I never thought I'd hear that opinion. Where I'm from, most guys won't wear pants in the summer. Or shoes/socks. Because it's about 110 degrees on average. I wear running shorts all summer.

Not trying to escalate the argument, but I don't know any straight males who wear shorts. Just sayin :-/
