On another note, did anyone read any other books by this author? I remember reading "In a Dark, Dark Room and Other Scary Stories" and they were just as morbid as these, yet hilariously still marketed to very young kids.

I feel like I own these books. If the big toe story involves a golden retriever, especially. There was also the girl with the prom dress, the subway slasher, the dollhouse...
