Default Things people take for granted

I'm forever getting the "why don't you have a cellphone or any kind of phone for that matter?" question fired at me because most just assume everyone has one or both of the above.

What items/things do you just take it, people have?

I know i'm bad for thinking everyone over 20 must have a drivers licence and own a car and I think it strange that some don't

Life is what anyone makes it. What seems dull and drear to us might be the height of excitement for others.

Different strokes for different folks

I feel like I take most things in my life for granted. I wish I didn't, but there must be something wrong with my brain, because I'm pretty much always miserable no matter what happens. I often think to myself, "I have water, shelter, food, entertainment, so why am I such a miserable person?". It seems criminal to think like that when there are people with none of those things, yet I complain about everything and sleep all of the time.

Well anyway, I often feel like most of us take life for granted. Mainly because we obsess about getting "this" or "that", indulging ourselves in material possessions we don't even really need, wasting our time with pointless games, ect.

Just because you have material things doesn't mean you should be happy. Im sure there are people in poorer parts of the world that are just as happy as some rich Americans.

^ same here. I've already quit using sites like the pirate bay. Maybe I'm just being paranoid but i don't feel like it's as safe as it used to be, with this acta bill going around.
