I don't even have a data plan for my iPhone. My carrier was charging $85/month or more for an all inclusive 3G data plan. So I blocked the data, and went with a $25/month plan that has everything I need. There are so many places that have free Wifi now, that if I have to check my email on the go, I just go to one. Like Starbucks for example.

I have the iPhone. I like it. It's not "fun", but I wasn't looking for a fun phone. I want it to do what it's supposed to and not fuck it up. So far so good. And then there's the design factor, and the survival of the depths of the toilet. I've gotten to play with all the main phones and, well, they sure are phones. The newest ones are great, and then in a year or so they're outdated. I would just play around with the ones you have in mind and go with whatever feels like the best choice.

I get the idea Apple is much cheaper in the US. The Macbook air is about 1000 bucks here and the Macbook pro 15" i7 is 2500 bucks. Insane prices and still all these idiots buy Apple.
