If we're considering new categories for next year that give certain members unfair advantages, I'd like to suggest the category "Best Member with a Rhyming Username", and "Best member with an anime Avatar"

Hm. Maybe in the sense that users who clearly get on with one another tended to nominate other users within their "social group"?

I mean, it's probably true to some extent. I don't think a big show was made of it or anything, but it makes sense to me that familiarity would be a factor. I can't very well nominate someone I don't really know for anything.
