in fairness, 7 game series involve a lot of randomness too, just less so than the one game playoffs. it always amuses me that sports fans in general have such a ridiculous inability to acknowledge the role luck plays in individual games.

Last week's SB came down to an absolutely great defensive play. The DB recognized the play before the ball was even snapped. He broke on it and got to the ball before the receiver did. And the other DB didn't allow the pick to happen. Plus the QB made a bad pass. Don't throw it out in front like that. Watch #21 break on the pass. Great play. Edit: This breaks it down even better.
