I used to wear the blue version of these back in high school (probably owned a black pair at some point too). I recently bought my first pair of Levi's for the first time in years earlier this Spring. They last 2 wears. The 3rd time I tried pulling them up over my skinny ass the belt loops popped off (I've always slipped a finger through them while pulling any pair of jeans on - never had a problem in over 30 years of jeans wearing experience).

Huh... that's really shitty, you should definitely expect more quality from something that generally costs $60 American dollars. I can't say I fear my pairs will do the same thing, they've been through the wash twice now and they haven't even begun to loose their colour yet, let alone feel like they're beginning to fall apart.

Agreed, got a full return / refund / swap at the store I picked them up from. Didn't bother getting another pair of Levi's though, I've never had a pair of jeans end up that weak ever, must have been the one pair that slipped through QA or something haha
