Baby goats always make me sad. When I was I was a wee tyke there was a zoo/petting zoo behind this SPCA (animal shelter), where they had a bunch of goats. One of them was the cutest little baby goat that I befriended. I don't know if he had an actual name, but I called him Charlie. Being a little kid with almost no friends he was kind of important to me. Then one day I think there was an outbreak of Parvo or something over there. There wasn't really anything to be done except put all of the animals to sleep. They couldn't even make sure which animals had it, or else it would probably have spread like wildfire to the animals inside the shelter, and maybe even beyond. Heard about it on the news; never even got to say goodbye to Charlie. Still getting a little choked up about it.

I'm a fan. We had a pet goat named Stymie when I was 6. Much fun.
