Varg Vikernes is a bigger Tolkien nerd than ANY of us. I was looking up some of his writings on Burzum's website, cause they have given my entertainment in the past, and I stumbled upon his "Civilization" article. I assumed this to be just some arbitrary neo-Nazi drivel about the fascist society he wanted to found, but oh was I wrong. Here's a small taste of the hilarious insanity I found within...

Got to use a pretty decent telescope a few nights ago and that's always awesome. Saturn, the moon, Jupiter, Mars, Andromeda, no matter what you point it at the images are never as good as you want, they're always much smaller than you hope, lack colour, and the atmosphere makes them wobbly, but seeing their form in detail hanging there in the sky in real time is very special.

Starting tomorrow night, I'm about to have an awesome four days.
First day: Playing MTG and 40k allll day, drinking home brews, probably goin out on the dinghy to jump some massive great lake waves and do some fishing. 2nd: Boyfriend's playing his annual show up in the more woodsy, pretty areas of Michigan, big party of cool people and good tunes, fireworks, July 4th stuff 3rd: Being lazy all day then JEX ****IN THOTH! Playing at Majestic Theater 4th: Goin out on the dinghy again, probably around dusk, and seeing the horizon stained with smoke and fireworks before we retire to lay in bed, drink more home brews, and game out.

veggie taquitos and mayonaisse made with tobasco sauce in place of vinegar or lemon juice or whatever is the greatest thing in the history of greatness and great things.
