If you fly to a pole, you can travel less distance due to the earth spinning under the plane than if you were to do it as the crow flies.

I've taken off in China on a Wednesday and landed in the US on the previous Tuesday.

Shouldn't it be having to pack a spare set of underwear everywhere you go?

I'll let you walk away with that. I didn't even laugh, I just glared at the screen. Good job.

Actually the most crazy thing is that, coming back, we are booked to fly out of NY (We plan to be traveling a bit in the US and the flight was crazy cheap..only 500 US dollars per person).

So if anyone can reccomend any good seafood places in Venice Beach or NYC, much appreciated. Especially places that have a "bucket of crab".

Good idea! Although I already have a great fear of heights and my mother pointed out "Hey, maybe you'll be flying over the Grand Canyon. Don't worry though..you'll be too high up to see it."

Thanks Mom.

I'm sure there'll be a Captain D's somewhere.

Their food looks ok...but I have that kind of stuff in my freezer. I am looking more for a place that has buckets of hot crab with butter sauce...they really don't do that in this part of the world .
