I've never done that in my life, and it sounds kind of pointless. You want to warm your privates, grab a blanket. At least then the rest of you is warm, too.

Freshly dried underwear is the best thing since freshly dried underwear. And if your feet are cold, socks directly from the dryer are pretty great as well.

I'm already wearing socks when I enter the kitchen to get my hot boxer shorts from the dryer. Walking on the ice cold tiled floor with no socks on in winter is honestly awful.
