So I was thinking about putting together a little quiz for members to take in a specific thread. A basic "about you" type quiz, with questions like the Saturday 6-Pack but a bit more tailored to getting to know your fellow MBers.

I'd need the community's help with coming up with the questions for it. So shoot.

Sort of like the Member Interviews, but catered so that everyone gets what they want (which is to be interviewed)?

I miss the Saturday 6 Pack. I thought about reviving it once but I couldn't think up any decent questions :(

I'd be up for this, though. I think I was nominated by like 3 or 4 different people as being the "most enigmatic member" :laughing: So are you looking for questions that are more personal in nature, then?

Yeah, think one of those stupid FB or chain-mail quizzes that gets passed around.. only we'll probably have more of a focus on music. Since this is, after all, the point of the website.

I particularly like the idea of a media focus. A little bit personal, a little bit general, a lot a bit musical. I'd be down for that.

Favourite _________ are probably a given, whether that's television shows, books, or colours.

Definitely. And then maybe for the musical favorites we'll go more in depth. Favorite Genres, Favorite Artists, Favorite Albums, Favorite Songs, Favorite Lyrics.

Then for the more probing questions we can ask things like "What originally got you interested in music" etc.

I quite like everything that's been added so far! It shall make for an interesting thread.

Forgive me but this seems a teeny little bit gay. Can we just bring back the 6 Pack?

I don't think there'd be anything terribly wrong with recycling some of the better questions from the six pack for a sort of Best of edition. The Saturday Six Pack always helped to bring a sense of community to the forum and there's definitely been enough of a turn over in members since we last consistently ran it to make even old questions fresh and interesting.

That's not a bad question, it's about as Gouda as it can Brie. Sorry, I am a cheese pun Munster and hope I didn't make an Asiago of myself in this post.
