For example: "Man, Phantom, that was such a gay thing of you to do, saying my username sucked!" It's using the word in a negative way for something people don't have any control over. It's like someone using "black" as an insult. And that would get me like, banned forever. No one would feel comfortable with using "you black person" as an insult. Because it's horrible and it associates being black with being horrible. You just never say that. I don't see why gay people should be treated differently. On a lighter note, I don't think "ginger" falls into that category. Being ginger, I'm also unlikely to take offence, because you must know how many complete micwankers around these days are ginger. [Like Ed Sheeran for example!] And I like that,"micwanker", meaning awful musician. I'll use it more often. I've just invented an insult! |

^ I once accidentally called Windows ME gay in front of a lesbian friend of mine. I had to apologise to her for associating her with Windows ME.
... On a more on topic note, I tend to make up my expletives on the spot these days, the normal ones are so boring. "Bucket" and "Biscuit" tend to feature a lot as they have fantastic gutteral sounds. A personal favourite is "Clunge Bucket", for the wonderful sound of it and also for that "haha... ew" when you think about what you just said.

Made up insults are often the best. "Bucket" used in conjunction with an odd nous will work very well; for example, if someone was really stupid, a noun associated with "stupid" can be placed in front of "bucket". The Virgin wasn't stupid, he was a "drool bucket", for example.

I don't really use slang, but I swear a hell of a lot in real life. I straddle the line between being PC and anti-PC. I'm mostly fairly good at not offending anyone but I have been known to use faggot as an insult/call someone my n*ahem*a despite neither of us being black.
