Goddamned retarded CG designers really get me pissed off.
Bike 10 to 15 for those young adults in that range by Claudia Baer, Anna Wiesinger, Marlene Klausner » Yanko Design
This bike, how does it fail, let me list the ways! 1 - Entire drivetrain is on the wrong side. All production bike components from Shimano, SRAM, Microshift, and even dead companies like SR Suntour, put gearing on the right. 2 - Handlebars come out of the body further forward than they enter, meaning they can't be on normal bearings, it has to be an internal linkage. Retarded idea. Would make the entire steering flexible. 3 - Brake levers, but no brakes. There are discs, but there is no brake caliper and the brake cables disappear into the frame and don't reappear anywhere. Even then, the brake levers clearly wouldn't pull any distance of cable. You'd be able to pull about 3mm of cable before you hit the handlebars. A hydraulic system would also run into problems. 4 - Saddle is an insane shape and would chafe within minutes of riding it. On top of that it would compress the perineal nerves and arteries, which would cause pain, numbness, and damage to the groin, reducing bloodflow and possibly causing erectile dysfunction after extended rides. If riding frequently, this could become a permanent health problem. 5 - whole frame is clearly weak as hell, would be too flexible to ride. 6 - Most bike wheels have spokes because the design is sound, and hasn't been bettered. Mag wheels are inefficient, expensive, and not as strong. Their only advantage is aerodynamics, and even then, these wheels clearly aren't aerodynamic. 7 - the pedals have no ****ing spindles. They'd snap instantly. 8 - To return to the gears for a moment, there are no shifters on the handlebars, nor cables for derailleurs, nor, in fact, are there any derailleurs. This bike has gears, but it has no equipment to actually change between them. 9 - The wheels aren't actually fixed in place. Look at it. They're just on little rods that go from side to side. There's no bolt, no quick release, no fixing of any kind. Useless. Raaaaage. And the worst part is, gadget blogs like gizmodo, kotaku and whatnot, ****ing eat this **** up. All KINDS of products get featured on there that are as badly designed as this. ****ing bastards. This thread is now officially for people posting CG design renders of products and subsequently explaining why they'd never work in a million years. GO!

Just look at this ****: ONE=TWO
The **** is that even meant to be? Are there cells in the spring coil? I really hope not, because the capacity of such a battery would be miniscule, owing to the whole thing being ****ing hollow and there being no space for capacitive fluid or whatever...
