yeh hookers brings up a good point there. if any of us were told that a family member was killed we dont immediately start reacting and doing stuff. i know ure gonna say its different and whatever but hes really just human too and we cant expect him to be more than that...

on the other hand i still dont like bush cos hes a crackhead but thats beside the point...

Angie I respect your opinions and everyone here. Back to the legalization of weed...

I believe its a good thing that marijuana is banned in the U.S. Someone earlier mentioned that we have a right to freedom of choice. This is arguably one of the most debated topics in the government. Does the government have a right to stop you from committing suicide, hurting others, or inhaling pernicious substances? I believe the government bans drugs like marijuana because in the long run it will cost them more to provide medical insurance due to the side effects of marijuana.

maybe they should not cover disease created by marijuana under the medical insurance but instead allow people to do it.. if theyre doing this in the interst of cutting down the number of users then, as ive stated before, legalization would be more effective than banning

Well said. I totally agree with that. There is nothing the government can do about people's choices, but they CAN make things illegal so people will get punished for it if they don't obey the law.

If you are familiar with World War I, you would know that Wilson eventually declared war in fear of losing trading partners and an unstable economy. Bush's action to go to war gives the government rights to spend money on army equipment, which will stimulate our economy. He and his economists understand that eventually the funds given to the American war businesses will trickle down to the lower class as seen in Reagan's plan.

so that makes killing innocent Iraqis justifiable????????????????you're obviously an intelligent man...but that was a horribly cold thing to say.nothing is worth sacrificing peoples lives
