We've had a lot of great and sometimes questionable people come and go this year, and here's your chance to say what you feel about them. The awards will be a bit different this year, to maximize the amusement and streamline the awards, so please take a moment to read the guidelines below.
THE CATEGORIES: (A PASTABLE FORM AVAILABLE UNDER THE CUT). Best avatar - The best member avatar of 2011. Sexiest Member (male) - The male member with the most sex appeal. Sexiest Member (female) - The female member with the most sex appeal. Most Inane - The user who is most vocal about all the dull and irrelevant moments of their day. Most Enigmatic - The user you find most intriguing and know very little about. Angriest member - The bitterest member, a cynic who often responds with hostility and bitterness towards new and old members. Biggest Drama Whore - The member who most often surrounds him or herself with drama. Nicest member - The kindest member, always makes an effort to treat people well, with respect, and to be nice. Best debater - The member who's best at discussing and communicating intelligently and effectively. Worst debater - The complete opposite. The member who's presence in a discussion is usually the most disruptive Best Writer - The best writer on the site, whether they are writing a review, a summary of their day, a rant and everything inbetween. Biggest Virtuoso - The member with the highest level of skill with an instrumental ability. Smartest poster - The forums smartest member. Funniest member - The member with the best sense of humour and who often makes you laugh. Best Mediator -The member who is best at controlling arguments, limiting negative behaviour but keeping the discussion fair, on-topic and interesting. Biggest Troll - The member who's presence anywhere in the forums is most disruptive Biggest contributor - The member who's posts and threads have contributed the most to the overall quality of the site in 2011. Most Improved Member - The member who's somehow improved the most in his or her behaviour on the site in the past 12 months. Most Underrated Poster - The site's biggest underdog - someone who's positive impact on the forums is generally underappreciated or often goes unnoticed. Most Mainstream Music Taste - The member with the most commercial, mainstream taste in music. Most Obscure Music Taste - The member with the most varied or obscure taste in music. Best Music Taste - The user with your favourite music taste this year. Biggest music nerd - The member who's most knowledgeable about music. Best Thread Starter - The member with a consistent habit of making throught provoking threads that manage to bring the community together in healthy, lengthy topic of debate or discussion. Most Missed Poster - The member who's presence on the boards you missed the most in 2011 due to their long periods of absence or inactivity. Thread of the Year - Your favourite thread created or popularized in 2011. Best Journal - The best Members Journal. Moderator of the Year - The member of the mod team who has helped to moderate the site the most in 2011 and who's work and efforts are the most appreciated. Best new 2011 member - The best new addition to the site in 2011. Member of the Year 2011 - The overall best member of 2011. The member who we love, appreciate and respect the most. Best Avatar: Conan (It’s not Jackie Chan) – I’m a big Tim and Eric fan, and that was one of my favourite sketches by them. Sexiest Member (Male): Trauma – He’s a good looking dude. Sexiest Member (Female): ThePhanastasio – She’s just a classic beauty. And this post can’t be seen as hitting on her because I don’t believe she’s interested in men. Most Inane: Most Enigmatic: PoorOldPo – As far as I know he only posts amazing paintings in the Art thread. I’d like to know more about him. Angriest Member: TheBig3 – He’s unbelievably bitter about something. I just don’t know what it is. Biggest Drama Whore: Alexthe4th – She left a pretty big impression in the short time she was here. Her percentage of posts in the picture gallery is easily over 50% of her total posts. Nicest Member: Vegangelica – It’s pretty obvious. She’s just insanely nice. bob. – I haven’t had many interactions with him, but seeing his other osts, along with the few times I have interacted with him, he’s come across very well. Burning Down - Fellow Canadian and she made me feel welcome right away. Best Debater: Worst Debater: SiriusB – I swear all he does is post Wikipedia articles, even if they don’t really relate all that much to the discussion. Best Writer: RMR - Excellent reviews. Glad to hear he's been recognized by the Bigs. Biggest Virtuoso: Freebase Dali - I all too sure what to put as I don't spend much time in the song writing thread, but I loved the track he just put up recently so... him. Smartest Poster: TheBig3 - Presents his arguments clearly and seems well educated. Funniest Member: Janszoon – Cracks me up pretty consistently. Best Mediator: Janszoon - never seems to lose his cool with anything. Biggest Troll: TheVirgin – I actually thought he was a pretty quality troll. Annoying, sure, but he definitely knew how to push people’s buttons. The quote that is in Conan’s sig is classic TheVirgin… Biggest Contributor: Pedestrian - Coupling what she contributes to the site along with her mod contributions I think she's done the most to uphold the integrity of this site, along with making it a more welcoming place for new members. Most Improved Member: Most Underrated Poster: Mrd00d – Hands down. I don’t think he gets a lot of credit for it, but he has a wealth of musical knowledge in many different genres. He’s responsible for posting many new artists that I wasn’t familiar with. Most Mainstream Music Taste: DJ Chameleon - I know he claims to listen to stuff that isn't just mainstream but I'm not sure what it is. Most Obscure Music Taste: Jack Pat - I almost get the sense that he caters more to stuff just because it's obscure, but regardless, he knows a hell of alot about tons of bands I've never heard of. Best Music Taste: Janszoon – He’s responsible for many new bands and artists that I’ve learned of this year, and he covers a lot of different genres. Mrd00d – Same as Janszoon, really. Great taste. Biggest Music Nerd: Janszoon – I know members like Urban Hatemonger and bob. Have a wealth of knowledge, but I don’t think their tastes are quite as broad as Janzsoon’s. I don’t know if there’s a genre he doesn’t know something about. Best Thread Starter: I'l give it to the trifecta of Phantom Limb, Jester and Sparky because I'm always very interested to see what they've posted in the hip hop section. Most Missed Poster: downwardspiral – He was my favourite poster when I started out on this site but he seems to have disappeared. Thread of the Year: Gothic Americana/ Alt-Country/ Dark Cabaret (LoathsomePete) – I believe this thread has about 5 posts in it from 2011, but I thought I’d mention it anyways. Alternative country was the one main genre I expanded my musical tastes in this year and this thread was a great aid for that. Journal of the Year: 25 Albums You Should Hear Before the Moon Crashes into the Earth and We All Die (Janszoon) – I’ve got many great recommendations from that list. Can’t wait to hear the conclusion. Moderator of the Year: Pedestrian – She was always the one that answered any questions I had and seems to be doing a great job at keeping this place troll-free. Best New Member 2011:Electrophonic tonic - Great taste and his power rankings thread is probably the thread I post most in. Il Duce - He can be hit or miss I find, but with that many posts, he has alot of good material. Weird as ****, but awesome at the same time. fazstp - one of the members I share the most in common with for musical taste, and I think that "guess the track" thread could have been thread of the year if more people paid it any attention. Sexiest Member (male) - Man..Ive never actually thought much about it. RVCA? and maybe Big3. Sexiest Member (female) - Vanilla gets this, with attitude alone. ThePhanastasio is beautiful in almost the same way as Tumor also, Great Attitudes and personalities. and Aurora. and Paloma both have beautiful personalities and good looks as well. Most Inane - N/A Most Enigmatic - Tumor!, she is someone that I find captivating. I just love her to death. And Phanastasio as well, she seems so sweet and honest. Angriest member - anticipation, I actually don't mean that in a bad, bad way. I'm quite sure that he is a nice person. Hell, I get angry myself sometimes, I'm no better or worse than he is, to be honest. Biggest Drama Whore- Paloma and Mighty Salami, I mean that in a good way. I like a little drama myself once in awhile.:) Nicest member - Right-Track., Vegan and Garrett 2nd. Best debater - Right-Track is a legend. Tore. Worst debater - The Virgin. Best Writer - Pedestrian seems like a natural. RMR has some outstanding reviews. Biggest Virtuoso - Freebase Dali. Followed by RezZ in at 2nd. Smartest poster - Right-Track, Almauro, Funniest member - Urban Hatemonger Best Mediator -Janszoon Freebase Dali is a master as well. Biggest Troll - Still..Telepicker. After all this time. Biggest contributor - Unknown Soldier. Most Improved Member - This one goes to: "Mrd00d" - Skazelton, he is a good dude, no matter what he thinks about me.;) Blastingas is making improvement. Duce is getting more involved in the music forums. Most Underrated Poster - Jack Pat, Almauro, The Batlord, LOLPOCALYPSE, Electrophonic Tonic, and Metal Connoisseur as well. Most Enigmatic: - I'm going to have to go with Love-Song on this one, first and foremost. This individual has not posted since May 16, but they posted for a really long time, accumulating an impressive post count...mainly in threads about love songs, which song describes how you're feeling...etc. Still, I know next to nothing about this member - gender, location, life goals, actual taste in music, whether or not he/she was in a loving relationship and gushing over it online - or creepily pining for someone from afar - but they are still, in my mind, certainly an enigma. Wrapped in a riddle. With a side of mystification. Angriest Member: - I think Urban. Followed by TheBig3. Biggest Drama Whore: - Tumor Nicest Member: - Vegangelica is extremely nice. Biggest Drama Whore: N/A Nicest Member: Bob. Great guy, shared many a rec with him and he's always a joy to talk to. Best Debater: Lucifer_Sam Always concise in getting his point across, doesn't hold back if he disagrees with something, which I like. Worst Debater: Erasertime. I'll say no more. Best Writer: Pedestrian I love her style, mainly because of it's fluidity and use of language. Most Underrated Poster: Anticipation Intelligent guy who doesn't suffer fools kindly, I like his taste in music too. I'd also like to mention Zer0, I love reading his posts, always insightful. Bangin' taste also. Most Mainstream Music Taste: Aurora She likes what she likes and comes across as passionate about her taste, which is what it's all about. Most Obscure Music Taste: Canwllcorfe Always interested to see what he's listening to, particularly fond of his taste in DSBM. Best Music Taste: Bob. I have quite a lot in common with him taste wise, and he's always sending new stuff my way. Yet to receive a bad rec. Biggest Music Nerd: Jack Pat Insatiable thirst for new sounds, I sense he lives and breathes music. Best Thread Starter: Jackhammer His topics are always well considered, and invariably incite healthy discussion. Most Missed Poster: music_phantom The guy had a great taste in music, and was always thoughtful in his posts. Thread of the Year: N/A Journal of the Year: Janszoon 25 albums Informative with his choices, which are mostly bang on the money. Moderator of the Year: Pedestrian I'm sure the rest of the mod team do a sterling job behind the scenes, but Ped visibly puts so much into ensuring this place ticks over smoothly and remains interesting. Always has time for everybody too. Best New Member 2011: TomClancy Appears to be a cool cat. Look forward to seeing more from him. Member of the Year 2011: Jack Pat Always has interesting points to make about great music of an often challenging nature, and he's constantly wanting to learn more. Seems like a genuinely decent chap too. It's posters like Jack that make MB worthwhile. |

Still, you can't win an arguement with Sam, it's probably impossible :). Funniest member: Urban, probably hands down. Best Avatar: Jackhammer's 'Pink Freud' avatar is classic. Also Vanilla's 'Who The Fuck Is Mick Jagger?' avatar springs to mind.
Sexiest Member (Male): I must say I am envious of RVCA's fine looks. Sexiest Member (Female): Vanilla, in both looks and attitude. And even though she tends to appear and disappear here Lateralus is certainly quite a looker. Most Inane: Even though he's a really cool guy I think s_k just tends to post a bit too much detail. Also Il Duce and more recently Mighty Salami, both fun guys but there's no need to reply to every single thread with short pointless posts. Most Enigmatic: Charlemagne has a great taste in music but I know very little about him other than that. Angriest Member: TheBig3, he just needs to relax and not take this place so seriously. I know he has a lot to contribute here. Biggest Drama Whore: Dirty takes the trophy for me. All the drama around here over the past year seemed to be caused by him. Also Oojay for similar reasons. Nicest Member: Vegangelica is always nice to everyone. Mojopinuk is always very friendly and helpful to everyone as well. Best Debater: Tore is a very smart debater and always backs up his points well. The same with Janszoon. Worst Debater: Blastingas just comes across as narrow-minded and ignorant a lot of the time. He just seems to disregard everyone else's opinion. Best Writer: I find Pedestrian's writing style, especially in her journal, very informative, witty and interesting. Biggest Virtuoso: Smartest Poster: Tore and Cardboard Adolescent come across as very intelligent people and are always spot on with their posts. Funniest Member: Urban Hatemonger. I really don't know what goes on in his head most of the time but I nearly piss myself laughing at some of the stuff he posts. Janszoon and TheCunningStunt also have a great sense of humour. Biggest Contributor: Pedestrian has contributed a lot to the overall quality of this site over the past year and her efforts are greatly appreciated and admired. Jack Pat has also contributed a lot of interesting discussion over the past year. Most Improved Member: I'm starting to notice starrynight's posts more and more. He seems to have found his feet here over the past few months. Also SIRIUSB seems to have changed his attitude for the better over the past couple of months. Most Underrated Poster: Odyshape seems to have grown into a very mature and intelligent poster. He could be a key member of the site in 2012. Most Mainstream Music Taste: djchameleon and Vanilla. Most Obscure Music Taste: CanwllCorfe listens to some very obscure music. Ska Lago Jew Sun Ra and Jack Pat also seem to listen to a lot of obscure experimental music. Best Music Taste: Most people here have a great taste in music, but I must say Stu and Bob. have excellent taste. Biggest Music Nerd: Urban Hatemonger is probably the most passionate about music on this site. Jackhammer isn't too far behind him and both of them have a staggering knowledge of music. Best Thread Starter: Ditto Most Missed Poster: Gavin B is sorely missed. His journal was one of the best things on this site and I've discovered plenty of great music from him. Also Sleepy Jack, even though I think he was a bit of a dick he contributed a lot to this place. Thread of the Year: General Album Club. Always great for discovering new music. It's a shame more people won't join in *ahem*. The Evolution of Music thread is very interesting and insightful, I can't even get my head around half of it. Also The 2011 Music Banter User Awards: NOMINATIONS! thread seems very interesting too :D Journal of the Year: Trollheart's Playlist of Life. Even though a lot of the music he posts in it isn't my cup of tea I really admire the amount of effort he puts into it. The guy's in another league. Crosswalking by Pedestrian is always a fascinating and engaging read and is always well presented. Moderator of the Year: Janszoon uses his moderating experience and a level head to keep this place a very enjoyable place to visit. Pedestrian also does a stellar job and the rest of the moderating team as well. We couldn't ask for a better mod team. Best New Member 2011: BastardofYoung breathed life into the Rock/Metal section with his excellent knowledge of metal and punk. Also Electrophonic Tonic and Thom Yorke are fine additions to this place. Member of the Year 2011: Pedestrian. An outstanding member and it's really hard to believe she's only been here just over a year. She's a very nice and intelligent person and her efforts here make her my number one choice. Alright, here's my list. This was hard. There are so many people who I wanted to nominate for something but there wasn't an exact category they fit into.
Best Avatar: Freebase Dali—His monster nurse avatar has become a kind of MB icon for me. And his ghost/mad scientist/klan member/whatever it is avatar wasn't too shabby either. Sexiest Member (Male): I don't think I pay enough attention to the member picture gallery to answer this Sexiest Member (Female): Same as above Most Inane: Il Duce—I honestly don't even mean this in a bad way. I'm sure he's aware that he talks a lot of nonsense (he's a lawyer after all) but I actually think he adds a certain flavor to the forum and I can't help but like him for it. Most Enigmatic: PoorOldPo—As someone else already said, the guy makes beautiful art and seems really nice. It would be great to hear some music discussion from him though. Angriest Member: Oojay—The ragemeister himself gets my nomination for this one. Biggest Drama Whore: Dirty—When 99% of your posts consist of whining, you get the drama whore nod. Them's the rules. Nicest Member: Lisnaholic—An all around classy individual. We don't tend to lurk in the same part of the site but it's always a pleasant surprise to cross paths with him. Best Debater: Tore—I'm pretty sure I've voted him for this in previous years, but that's probably because he's so good at making solid, logical arguments. Worst Debater: eraser.time206—Bad debaters come and go like the tide around here. He's just the first one to spring to mind since he was recent. Best Writer: Engine—I always look forward to his posts. Not just because he has a great taste in music but because he has a lot of interesting things to say and is able to articulate them incredibly well. Biggest Virtuoso: Burning Down—Have you heard this woman play flute? Amazing stuff. Smartest Poster: Freebase Dali—Incredibly knowledgeable about everything from recording techniques to computers and probably the best problem solver around here as well. Funniest Member: nonsubmissivewife—So friendly and easygoing that it's easy to miss how sharp her wit is, but she cracks me the hell up. Best Mediator: mojopinuk—One of the most level-headed people around and very good at seeing an argument from all sides. Biggest Troll: The Virgin—Does this even require an explanation? Biggest Contributor: Jackhammer—He maybe hasn't been around as much this year as in years past, but he still is one of the major shapers of MB. Most Improved Member: Lone Misfit—A little while ago it struck me how great it's been to see this guy grow during his time here. In less than two years he's matured a lot and gone from pretty much only talking about metal to having quite broad tastes. He was always a pretty cool cat but it's great to see him turning into one of the most thoughtful and interesting members here. Most Underrated Poster: Thom Yorke—Some people show up here and immediately seem like they've been a part of the community forever and he's one of them. Always has something interesting to say and doesn't seem to take himself very seriously. Most Mainstream Music Taste: Billy Jerome—This is in no way a put-down. For one thing, he digs his fair share of non-mainstream stuff too. It's just nice to see someone on here who is able to discuss modern (or semi-modern) pop music with such intelligence. Most Obscure Music Taste: JackPat—I have a lot of common ground with him musically but even still I'm amazed by some of the stuff he comes up with. I can't even begin to imagine where he finds it. Best Music Taste: Bob.—It certainly doesn't hurt that he and I are the same age and clearly ran in the same kinds of circles growing up, but if he recommends something, it's pretty much a forgone conclusion that I'll love it. Biggest Music Nerd: Burning Down—Who could be a bigger music nerd than someone who actually studies it in an academic setting? She's easily one of the most knowledgeable people on MB, a fact which too often goes overlooked I think. Best Thread Starter: Bastard of Young—Wins it for starting my favorite thread of the year (see below), plus I always look forward to reading what he has to say. Most Missed Poster: Dankrsta—Where the hell have you been? This place hasn't been the same without you. Thread of the Year: "The Death Metal Thread"—Pretty straight forward topic but it contained some of the best conversations on MB in 2011 IMO. It was always at the top of my list of things to check on whenever I logged in. I really appreciate MB's core crew of metal fans for making it that way. Journal of the Year: "Just Can't Keep My Filthy Hands Of Your Piece Of Mind - Bob's Guide To Noise Rock" by Bob.—Still in it's infancy but it's definitely the journal I'm most excited about. All I have to say is he better finish it! Moderator of the Year: Pedestrian—She's really blossomed as a mod and become such a vital part of the team. Especially in the past few months she's done a ton and really helped bring a lot of fun to MB. Best New Member 2011: Batlord—It's kind of shocking he's been here for as little time as he has since he's such an MB fixture. He's hilarious and has some great things to say. I'm definitely a fan. Member of the Year 2011: s_k—I had a really hard time picking this one, but I'm giving it to this guy because he's such a character. He can be controversial at times I guess but he definitely brings a certain je ne sais quoi to MB that wasn't here before and which I think makes this place just a bit more interesting. |

I would say in the past year or so he's become a lot more relaxed about this place and he has a much more laid back vibe these days, yet he's still not lost any of his directness. Because of that I find him much easier to deal with and appreciate his posts more, especially in the mod forum where his detective work has uncovered plenty of lulz. Most Underrated Poster: Tumor A lot of people don't like her, I can see why. A lot of people don't like me either. But for someone who some people write off as a troll she's well liked by quite a lot of people here who are into discussing music rather than hanging out in the lounge. Thanks a lot to those who have nominated me! I'm a little surprised. Compared to last year, I feel like my presence here has been like a shadow of my former self, contributing less to the site and involving myself in fewer discussions.
Anyways, I have time for some if not all of these : Most Inane: S_k .. Tries so hard to be likable, but can't help being slightly condescending and pig-headed. His amazing relationships with girls, his home address, google earth picture of his house etc. is just way more information than I need and I think he should take a moment or two and learn the ABCs of internet security. My runner up would be Il Duce. I like the Duce a lot, but his posts (which are everywhere) always feel like a (too) short summary of whatever he thinks or feels. Despite this, he sometimes makes posts in the TMI category. I wish he'd make fewer posts, but fill them with more content. Most Enigmatic: Burning Down .. Who are you? That's not a rhetoric question either, I'd actually like to know. Angriest Member: I'll nominate GuitarBizarre for the way he likes to reign down his fury on the wrong and the stupid. I get the feeling she's not around anymore, but if ever there was a poster that was a total black box... Angriest Member: Probably Paloma. There are lots of users on the forum that are very aggressively argumentative *cough*Big2*cough*, but noone has such a short fuse. Biggest Drama Whore: Hum. If this were attention whore, I'd be able to answer, but Drama? I just leave when things get too dramatic, so I really don't know. Nicest Member: Vegangelica. I love having discussions with Erica, cause they're always so... nice. Regardless of whether she agrees or not, she will always be more than polite. Best Debater: There are quite a few people who could win this category. For me, due to exposure, I'm going to say Tore. He is calm, collected, and always presents a valid, thought out argument. The same can be said for many other people I'm sure, but he's the one who I personally have had the most consistently well debated contact with. Worst Debater: Truly bad debaters don't seem to stick around too long here - you either debate well or your posts don't contain enough opinion to be worth debating. For that reason, I can't think of anyone who is still around that I remember as being a bad debater. Best Writer: Loathsome Pete. It was his "101 Albums..." list and the erudite fashion through which he explained the reasons why he loved each album on the list that got me back into checking these forums every now and then. To djchameleon and jackhammer, because one avatar is quite sexy, while the other one has a girl in a bikini. Most Enigmatic: canwllcorfe has a strange name, strange avatars and strange musical tastes so he`s very mysterious to me, but the real enigma is lovesong, who posts with care, but who doesn`t invite any dialogue or comment. Angriest Member: Skaligojura is angry in a good way. He`s like MB`s conscience, telling us to challenge our musical preconceptions and take music as seriously as he does. Nicest Member: s_k must be the friendliest guy here, opening the Cafe and Cribs threads, just to make MB a more sociable place. At a more individual level, when Vegangelica opens a thread she is attentive to every poster, making them feel that their contributions are both welcome and valued. Scanning the boards then joining her threads is like walking from a windy street into a warm home. Best Debater: tore has the patience to research before he posts. He`s always ready with references, reasons and questions to move a debate onto another level. He is also prepared to reason with the unreasonable. Does anyone else remember how, with a masterpiece of polite analysis, he told Baggs that he wasn`t welcome ? Worst Debater: The recently arrived steveeden specialises in posts that are long on bombast but short on logic. Best avatar - Perhaps not the best or most original avatar, but (especially without the christmas hat) I've always liked Kayleigh's avatar. I've never really understood the big deal about Marilyn Monroe, but this photo somehow touches me. There's a certain kindness to it. It makes me smile :)

To me, biggest contributor is definetly something that the mods are most deserving of. They're working for free to protect the community from disturbance and ensure the quality of the site. A lot of the work they do is invisible to regular users and it's often a thankless job, particularly from the site admins who never took an interest in going-ons when I was a mod.

Best Avatar: First would be Tumor, because when I saw the Christmas hat I literally almost died. Second on my list would be Hank the Drifter, TVZ is my favorite performer and it's a quaint picture of him. Third would be Jackhammer, as I found his current avatar quite clever. Honorable mention to Antonio for the Nyan Cat.
Sexiest Member (Male): I think Freebase Dali is a very pretty man, and since I can't vote for myself I'll have to vote for him. I'll also nominate Il Duce and.. what the hell? Big3 is a good looking guy. Sexiest Member (Female): Pedestrian is a very pretty lady, I'd be kidding myself not to nominate Vanilla again this year, and Tumor has a good look. This was seriously way too hard to choose. Most Inane:Dirty definitely gets my vote here. He was a fun guy, had the habit of taking things too far, and in the end didn't end up contributing much to the music side of the forum. Basically, for better or worse, he was the biggest lounger ever. Most Enigmatic:CanwllCorfe takes the cake here. I don't know much about him, and judging by his choice of music - he's most likely one of the most awesome weirdos you'll ever meet. Also nominating Big3 just because his perspectives, opinions and even his prose is usually very different. Sometimes this is refreshing, sometimes it's off-putting, but I never know what to expect from him. NumberNineDream gets my third nomination. She may have barely posted this year, but she's one of the coolest, most enigmatic characters in MB history. Angriest Member:GuitarBizarre, definitely. Although his anger definitely seems more like righteous indigence - I can usually see where he's coming from. But he's angry nonetheless. Boo Boo is second. Our archvillain (or maybe that's just how he sees it) reared his head briefly this year, albeit indirectly, and went on one of his trademark pissy-fits. Is pissy-fits a term? Oh well, it is now. Biggest Drama Whore:boo boo, the guy just can't let go. Dirty, the guy... just.. can't.. let.. go. Tumor, she just can't help herself. Nicest Member:I think Janszoon should win this one for people incredibly personable yet not at all a pushover. Best Debater:Ska Logos Jew Sun Ra and Big3. They've been on a multi-page, very well articulated and researched debate about Beavis and Butthead. I think this says enough. Janszoon also gets a nomination. Worst Debater: No nominations from me. Best Writer: big3, trollheart, and newcomer Above for her very personal journal. Biggest Virtuoso:RezZ and Freebase Dali. Smartest Poster: tore and Janszoon strike me as very critical, down to earth thinkers. Funniest Member:Urban Hatemonger for his intentional humor and The Virgin for his unintentional humor (at least, we think it was unintentional. The great debate continues...) Best Mediator:The Entire Mod Staff. Yes, that is my nomination. Although we had a few kinks to work out as a mostly new team, I think we've managed to become an effective, cohesive unit. Far more effective as mediators than other forums I've visited, where moderators essentially act as clean-up crews. Biggest Troll:THE VIRGIN. Can I nominate him three separate times? More later. |
