Best Avatar: First would be Tumor, because when I saw the Christmas hat I literally almost died. Second on my list would be Hank the Drifter, TVZ is my favorite performer and it's a quaint picture of him. Third would be Jackhammer, as I found his current avatar quite clever. Honorable mention to Antonio for the Nyan Cat.
Sexiest Member (Male): I think Freebase Dali is a very pretty man, and since I can't vote for myself I'll have to vote for him. I'll also nominate Il Duce and.. what the hell? Big3 is a good looking guy.
Sexiest Member (Female): Pedestrian is a very pretty lady, I'd be kidding myself not to nominate Vanilla again this year, and Tumor has a good look. This was seriously way too hard to choose.
Most Inane:Dirty definitely gets my vote here. He was a fun guy, had the habit of taking things too far, and in the end didn't end up contributing much to the music side of the forum. Basically, for better or worse, he was the biggest lounger ever.
Most Enigmatic:CanwllCorfe takes the cake here. I don't know much about him, and judging by his choice of music - he's most likely one of the most awesome weirdos you'll ever meet. Also nominating Big3 just because his perspectives, opinions and even his prose is usually very different. Sometimes this is refreshing, sometimes it's off-putting, but I never know what to expect from him. NumberNineDream gets my third nomination. She may have barely posted this year, but she's one of the coolest, most enigmatic characters in MB history.
Angriest Member:GuitarBizarre, definitely. Although his anger definitely seems more like righteous indigence - I can usually see where he's coming from. But he's angry nonetheless. Boo Boo is second. Our archvillain (or maybe that's just how he sees it) reared his head briefly this year, albeit indirectly, and went on one of his trademark pissy-fits. Is pissy-fits a term? Oh well, it is now.
Biggest Drama Whore:boo boo, the guy just can't let go. Dirty, the guy... just.. can't.. let.. go. Tumor, she just can't help herself.
Nicest Member:I think Janszoon should win this one for people incredibly personable yet not at all a pushover.
Best Debater:Ska Logos Jew Sun Ra and Big3. They've been on a multi-page, very well articulated and researched debate about Beavis and Butthead. I think this says enough. Janszoon also gets a nomination.
Worst Debater: No nominations from me.
Best Writer: big3, trollheart, and newcomer Above for her very personal journal.
Biggest Virtuoso:RezZ and Freebase Dali.
Smartest Poster: tore and Janszoon strike me as very critical, down to earth thinkers.
Funniest Member:Urban Hatemonger for his intentional humor and The Virgin for his unintentional humor (at least, we think it was unintentional. The great debate continues...)
Best Mediator:The Entire Mod Staff. Yes, that is my nomination. Although we had a few kinks to work out as a mostly new team, I think we've managed to become an effective, cohesive unit. Far more effective as mediators than other forums I've visited, where moderators essentially act as clean-up crews.
Biggest Troll:THE VIRGIN. Can I nominate him three separate times?
