If You Won the Lottery...
If there's no equivalent in your country, just assume you've won (somehow) your country's equivalent of $50 million dollars. If you do have a lottery, or if you're American, do the same.
So, basically - you've somehow won $50 million dollars, American. What would you do with it? Me? I'd go: 3 million - Housing / vehicle. 5 million - Worthy charities. 5 million - Family. 10 million - For spending to eat, travel (a little bit) and all of that. This should cover the course of my lifetime, mind. 5 million - To produce an independent film. The rest - Save for ancestors / a rainy day.

I'd likely do the following:
- Buy a shedload of music gear, lessons and also build a recording studio for myself. - Invest some in some shares, stocks or something else. I'd get an investments manager so I don't **** it all up too. - Buy myself a house somewhere nice. Do it up if needed. - Give money to charity and social projects. - Keep some for myself to do things I've wanted to do or experience. - Give some to my family - Keep the rest for any kids/family I choose to have myself.

- Invest or bank it so as to best earn interest from the money.
- Travel the world, spending a few months in each place, probably rent a nice apartment or something. - Use portion of money to develop and market a sitcom. - Learn to play many instruments - Support remaining family. - Skim unnecessary funds for charity - Tell no one. |

I'd finish out my current Econ/Accounting degree, go to a better school and get an Astronomy/Astrophysics degree (what I would be studying now if not for time/money constraints), buy a secluded house in Norway/Sweden somewhere with Ski Resort access, and spend the rest of my life investing/reading/computing.

I would buy a helicopter and hire a pilot to fly me over Brooklyn and dump out 1 million dollars and record the mayhem of human instincts
I would take 5 million and split it up between four other friends and play a real life version of Monopoly. See who buys up the most property and gets the highest rent revenue in a certain time frame. I would most definitely take a few trips to Germany, Brazil, Japan with some of the money and also invest in stocks. I would pay to have DisneyWorld shut down for the 3 days while riding around the place with my friends on our own Segways going to all the rides. Fuck my family they don't deserve shit.
