I love it when people use punctuation incorrectly. My friend's girlfriend does it all the time. I used one once in a text message to her, and ever since then she attempts to use them in any way she can. For the record, I don't think she's used it correctly even once so far.

I don't know if it counts, but I also enjoy seeing people use words like "thy" and "thou".

Well those words are grammatically correct, but they're just so old fashioned. Like, I think of Shakespeare when I see them.

By the way, the thread title is pure win!

Oh I know, it's just that I've never seen them used correctly. If someone wants to use punctuation or a word they've never used before, I don't get why they don't look it up to see if they'd be using it correctly first. If you're not sure, then just stick to what you know.

I have a brilliant friend on facebook who claims that typing and spelling like a retard is fine on the internet just as long as you don't spell like that in real life. The sad part is, she actually does pass in tests like this. Believe it or not she passed english class.

"Hates it when u shave ur legs , then you relize tthat u missed a huge part . but ur to lazy to go back and shave it."

"o yeah got a pencil skert thingy and damn , i look like i acchuly have a but ! FTW !"

"Not tierd , so im watching the cheetah girls one world . thats depressing ...."

"k everyone that said that saint macs doesint rookie anyone is a liar ... lolololololol . ohh and simmonds doesint really rookie anyone .. the only way you get rookied there is if u go to the smoking area .."

I can't read her profile feed anymore. I'm going to die.

**** like that does annoy me. what annoys me the most is when someone says your stupid when they actually say it with meaning behind it. makes me laugh, but at the same time annoyed.

I seriously don't have spell check in my browser, and trust my own judgment as to what should / should not be posted.

I qualified for the Scripps Howard Spelling Bee in 2002, and had to miss because I had a softball tournament (15 hours away) in Daytona Beach, FL. So, I feel like anything spelled by me is either going to be correct, a typo, or based on some serious linguistic rule in Latin, German, etc.

My punctuation, however, goes willy-nilly as I type - and as such, could potentially be incorrect...but I'm a total fruit for commas and semicolons - so please don't fault me there.

Additionally - my most recent visit with a therapist, I discovered that I have a form of synesthesia. It's not a really cool form - essentially, I just spell things out in my head and visualize them, and if they're correct, they're yellow in my vision - incorrect are red - and if I'm seriously not sure, the letters in question that may or may not be wrong are purple. It was still cool to find out about. I'd been of the opinion that everyone did this while spelling words previously.
