My weirdest dream was when a guy i knew chased me, but instead him being normal he was all evil and just kept on running after me, i didn't have a clue why and they're always completely silent and go on for so long. And radios don't help me because i heard a voice in the white noise (it wasn't a radio station) while i was tuning it once and it's so scary.

doesnt help when at 2am in the pitch black, the velvet ubderground- venus in furs comes on. pretty dark song.

I haven't had a scary dream in years, but I have suffered from a bout of sleep paralysis. I was trying to get to sleep one night and I'd been laying in bed with my eyes closed for about an hr. I opened my eyes and I was hallucinating that there were things moving around me (like a black mist), and I could not just see them it actually felt like there was something in my room with me. Although this I couldn't move, I even tried to call out but I couldn't. Anyway, it suddenly felt like one of these things was in bed with me, I sleep in a double bed and I was spread out, and my arm got pushed toward my chest. At this point I freaked out and managed to will myself to move and a rolled over and hit my lamp on. I'm glad it happened though 'cause now I've experienced it, but it was f**king scary.

There's actually a really freaky place just down my road, a guy who got meningitis when he was a child lives in an old, derelect mouldy house. He never was the same after the illness, it affected him mentally. It has no electricity supply, the front of the house is covered in ivy some of the windows are smashed. He has all of the things he needs delivered to his house and never leaves the house unless it's night time...And also a few ten years ago a man murdered everyone in his family in a house nearby.

Moving back to the original topic as i havent been here for a while... I believe in some sort of afterlife... I believe that everything has a soul and it goes somewhere at the end of your life, not necessarily a heaven or a hell, but somewhere. I think I believe in this because the thought of being dead and thats it kinda scares me slightly...
Ghosts- I'm unsure, I can't say I've ever seen one, I've felt presences of people when no ones there though. So I don't want to rule it out completely....
Aliens - Well, with a universe as big as this one there MUST be something out there... be it bacteria or HUGE beings with funny eyes and they're going to come and kill us for obscure reasons...
Faeries- I believe in them, I've got so many books about them, I draw them all the time, I just like the thought of there being faeries to help you out or cause mischief everywhere....

Ive always been told that Doppelgangers are like the ghostly double of someone, and apparently it haunts the person that its the ghost of... But I know someone that thinks a Doppelganger is just someone that looks exactly like you, just somewhere else...

AITA is right in saying their a spiritual double of somebody, always when the particular person is still alive. their so feared because they are thought to appear just before a crisis- eg before a family death or something. hence another name for them- crisis apparitions. and they dont specifically haunt the person in question but instead haunt people close to the individual emotionally- freinds, siblings, husbands/wives, bosses etc.

maybe its just an australian thing but ive never heard of them before...

I like the idea of Doppelgangers, Im not sure why though.. I never knew they were a sign of death, but for some reason I quite like that.. Tis kinda like theyre watching out for you... Meh, theyre probably evil, I dunno.

Exactly, I really really really badly want to know what it feels like to die... That was the cause of my suicidal tendencies when I was a kid, Im not kidding. I didnt think about the fact that I'd be dead, I just thought "Wow, Im gonna die!". The consequences didnt even occur to me...
