i think i sometimes judge people by what they listen to but i dont stop it from letting me get to know them, if u know what i mean. like if someone likes pop or whatever, my immediate reaction is i dont like them but i wont let it stop me from getting to know them.

dont worry if u dont understand, i just read it and i dont either.....

the majority of my friends listen to every commercial music there is.. and they're still smart and funny and cool to talk to. i know it may be strange.. or hard to believe, but it's true. but i do judge those i don't know at all when i see them dressed in baby blue or white pink, colours i don't wear.. i think the girls that wear "whore clothes" are.. well.. "easy".. i dunno how to say it..

if an 18 year old boy listened to hilary duff i would definitely call him SUCKER
so i guess i do criticise... <sob>

also i identify music to a persons characteristics, for example one of my boyfriends listened to political hip hop therefore we had a common interst and through that got to know eachother in otherways. i dont see how its lame as least im not judging people on how they look at least to me if we have a similar taste in music we hav a connection and if theres more mayb u can hav a relationship n if not a least u can hav a reasonable conversation with them that both sides will enjoy

yeh like the other day i was talking to this girl i hardly know and i asked her what music she liked and she said anything in the top 40 and i was like hmmmmmm how boring so yeh....

I try not to judge based on what music someone listens to. If they listen to stuff I don't listen to I think it's kind of cool because it exposes me to some different stuff. If they listen to stuff I hate (usually not the case too often) then I just try to take turns when we're in a car together or something. I'm not sure how people judge me on music but I've had a few people do it online. Usually after they find out just one thing I listen to, which is being a bit quick to judge. I listen to classic rock, grunge, bubblegum pop, punk, Latin, classical, New Wave, folk, country, and metal. I don't like everything in all of those genres but I like enough out of each one to say I like the genre. I'm not really sure what people make of that.
