Yeah nah - yes but I'm not sure
Sweet as - awesome

Not even au - not even brother
Whaddap cuz - what's up cousin/friend
that's really awesome eh? - eh is what we say after nearly every sentence, the way English say yeah after sentences.
Gidday - hello
Kia ora - hello

I thought I was the only one who said that.

Anywho, here's some stuff I use regularly:

Hella- is pretty much a given if you're from the bay area. Just an intensifier.

Wicked- Popular in the south bay, ie San Diego or the OC. Same goes for brah/bruh/bro.

Steazy- Stylish and easy. Snowboard slang, adopted by skateboarders circa early 00s. Comin back here and there. "Did you seem him land that nollie off the rail?! That **** looked hella steazy!"

Boss- The best or something/someone to be respected.

Man- I say this more than I should. I embarrass myself by how often I say this, man.

Cuts- Something/someone/somewhere that's sneaky or shady. "Gotta be hella cutty when yer writin', cops patrol this street like every twenty bro", "Had to run through the cuts to make it outta there dude"

Sketch- Untrustworthy. "Nah man, that dude's hella sketch don't buy from him"

Posh- For something normally not considered, eh, "high brow" but still the best of it's kind. IE, some posh weed is some really good weed.

FIDLAR- Band from LA made it up, it's an acronym for "**** it dog, life's a risk". You say it when you're about to do something stupid/crazy/dangerous/combination thereof.

That's all I got for now.

My coworker calls me Boss all the time. He's an older dude and is one of the coolest guys i've ever worked with. I'm glad I know what this word means now.

It can also be used as a condescension.
Much like when people sarcastically call other people "Chief", "Champ" and "Big Guy".

My slang vernacular:

Choice (awesome)
Bitchin'
Right on
Dork
Stellar
Groovy
Keep it real/Catch you on the flip side
Righteous
Fly
Bro (I use it and many variants in excess on purpose)
Get real
SICK AS ****

And more

Your slang is pretty much 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s rolled into one.

Makes sense, though he wouldn't be sarcastic with it since he is always letting me know how good of a job i'm doing. He's much more experienced in the job than I am, but it's nice to know that he loves my work.

I use the word "groovy" to describe just about everything I deem pretty cool.

I also refer to young men I tolerate as "son" (I don't know why?).

Instead of saying "I concur" or "I agree" I overuse the phrase "for real".

I personally find it weird that I don't use any of my generation's slang. Like "hella", I never use that word, or "days" to describe long periods of time. Hella days.

It sounds dumb to say "hella" and I cringe when people say "craycray" - or when white people call their friends their "niggas".
